The 2nd H-steel atelier Steel Public Art Contest

Steel Forest는 3m x 3m x 3m의 공간을 직선과 호를 사용하여 자연과 인간이 공존하는 공간으로 구성한 조형물이다. 흰색의 단순화된 아치트리는 서로를 받치며 숲을 이루고, 아치와 아치 사이에 놓인 Hanging Nature(어린이 생태놀이 화분)는 강철의 숲으로 대체된 생태계 속 자연을 상징한다. 방문객을 위한 휴식 공간과 식물로 채워진 슬라이딩 화단이 평행하게 흐르는 듯 이어지며 공존의 의미를 시각적으로 전달함과 동시에 대지와 접촉하며 다시 자연의 일부가 된다.

Steel Forest is a sculpture that consists of a space where nature and humans coexist by composing a 3m X 3m X 3m space with straight lines and arcs. The simplified white Archtree supports each other to form a forest, and the Hanging Nature (pot for children's ecological play) placed between the Arch and Arch symbolizes the nature within the ecosystem replaced by the Steel Forest. A resting space for visitors and a sliding flower bed filled with plants flow in parallel, visually conveying the meaning of coexistence, and at the same time make contact with the ground and become a part of nature again.

Steel Forest는 55개의 아치형 파이프와 반원형 파이프, 아이들의 생태놀이를 위한 화분 2개와 슬라이딩 화단, 담쟁이덩굴 쉼터로 계획된 볼트형 펀칭메탈과 벤치, 그리고 한 그루의 나무로 구성된다. 바닥은 한 변의 길이가 1m인 3 x 3 그리드의 9개의 셀으로 구획된다. 이 중 4개의 셀은 바닥 잔디와 쉼터공간을 만들며, 나머지 5개의 셀은 L자형으로 쉼터공간을 둘러싸는 화강암 바닥으로 구성된다. 화강암 사이에 풀이 자랄 수 있는 틈을 계획해, Steel Forest의 시스템이 전면에 투영 노출되도록 하였다.

Steel Forest consists of 55 arched pipes, semi-circular pipes, two flowerpots and a sliding flower bed for children's ecological play, bolt-type punching metal and benches planned as an ivy shelter, and a single tree. The floor is divided into 9 compartments of 3 X 3 compartments with a side length of 1 m. The 4th cell is equipped with a floor lawn and shelter, and the 5th cellar granite floor surrounding the periphery is a L-shape, planning a gap for grass to grow between the stones so that the system of Steel Forest is projected and exposed on the floor, making it hard for play. It is designed as a floor.
